The Jackson Vol. Fire Co. No. 1 Station 55 extends our condolences and a thank you to our brother firefighters at North Hudson Regional Fire and Rescue Department for their assistance, hospitality and courtesies extended to our Company and Fire District during the viewing and funeral of NHRFR Captain Carmine Flora, who also served as an elected Fire Commissioner of Jackson Fire District 3.
The officers and members of the North Hudson Fire Department were outstanding in their support and display of brotherhood to everyone from Jackson.  We were proud to stand shoulder-to- shoulder with the firefighters of your Department as we all paid our last respects to Captain Flora.  May he rest in peace.

Station 55 also thanks our brother and sister firefighters in our area that offered their assistance to our department during this time of sadness and loss.

Fire Safety Tips

Be aware that if a fire threatens your home, you should not place the call to emergency services from inside the home. It is better to get out and place the call to fire authorities from a safe location outside the home.
